Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Lisbon—Transfer to Fatima, Portugal

Upon arrival in Lisbon, enjoy a panoramic tour of the city’s historic landmarks (subject to arrival time). Later, transfer to Fatima, one of the world’s most significant pilgrimage destinations.

Day 2: Exploring Fatima, Portugal

After breakfast, embark on a guided tour of Fatima, home to the renowned Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fatima, where the 1917 Marian apparitions forever transformed this humble town. Your expert guide leads you through the expansive Sanctuary of Fatima, where millions of pilgrims gather annually. The sacred complex unfolds before you: the intimate Capelinha das Aparições marks the exact site of the apparitions, while the majestic Basilica of Nossa Senhora do Rosário stands as a testament to centuries of faith. The contemporary Basilica of the Holy Trinity complements the historical structures, while the serene Retreat Houses of Nossa Senhora das Dores and Nossa Senhora do Carmo offer spaces for reflection. Day 3: Journey to Santiago de Compostela, Spain

Travel to Santiago de Compostela with a stop in Braga to visit the magnificent Sanctuary of Bom Jesus, known for its stunning baroque staircase. Continue to Santiago de Compostela, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the world’s top pilgrimage destinations.

Day 4: Discover Santiago de Compostela, Spain

Breakfast at the hotel. The ancient city of Santiago has been a World Heritage Site by UNESCO since 1985. and one of Christianity’s most significant pilgrimage destinations. Your guide shares the rich history of this ancient city, where tradition holds that the Apostle James found his final rest. The magnificent cathedral, the culmination point for countless pilgrims walking the Camino de Santiago, stands as the day’s centerpiece, its architecture telling stories of faith spanning centuries.

Day 5: Visit Covadonga Sanctuary—Travel to Bilbao, Spain

Depart for Bilbao with a special stop at the revered Sanctuary of Covadonga. A local expert reveals the spiritual and historical significance of this sacred complex, where the basilica and ancient cave chapel blend seamlessly with the surrounding natural beauty. Visit the basilica and the sacred cave before continuing the journey to Bilbao.


DAY 6—FROM BILBAO, SPAIN, TO LOURDES, FRANCE

Breakfast at the hotel. Depart with the bus to Lourdes. Arrival, lunch at the hotel, and a guided visit of the sanctuary in the afternoon. Lourdes is one of the great modern sanctuaries in Europe and owes its reputation to the appearance of the Virgin to a peasant girl, Bernadette Soubirous, in 1858. Four million people visit the Grotte de Massabielle annually, where the Virgin appeared. Enjoy the night procession.

DAY 7—LOURDES—PARIS (FRANCE)

Breakfast at the hotel. Depart at 09.21 hrs. on the train to Paris. Arrival in Paris at 14.08 and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, our visits with the local guide start from the Arc de Triomphe, one of the most popular attractions in Paris. The Arc de Triomphe is the biggest and tallest triumphal arch in the world. The Avenue des Champs-Élysées makes up the most beautiful and well-known artery in Paris, with a multitude of shops and places for shows like the famous Lido. The Place de la Concorde with its impressive obelisk and Trocadero until the Eiffel Tower is the most seen in Paris and recognizable monument around the world. We will admire its incredible 360° views of the city. Lunch, dinner, and accommodation at the hotel.

DAY 8—PARIS, FRANCE

Breakfast at the hotel. Guided visits of Paris start at the Notre Dame Cathedral, the most visited site in Paris (10 million tourists each year), in the true heart of Paris. Twin towers immortalized by Victor Hugo rise to a height of 220 feet. 420 spiraling stairs bring you all the way up, where you will find the cathedral’s most frightening statues in a very close range. The South Tower will reveal a spectacular view of Paris. The Pantheon. This building has had several uses in history and now houses the tombs of famous French characters such as Victor Hugo or Marie Curie. Visits of magnificent Luxembourg Gardens and finishing in the Latin Quarter, the liveliest area in Paris, include gardens, churches, notable buildings, ancient and modern classical universities, museums, and even an out-of-the-ordinary bookstore, a mosque, or the remains of a Roman amphitheater.

DAY 9—PARIS, FRANCE

Breakfast at the hotel. Today visits the Louvre Museum, in fact the largest art museum in the world and the home for one of the finest art collections anywhere to be seen, including two of the most famous painted women—the Mona Lisa and Venus de Milo, just to name two out of the 30,000 exhibits. Free time for lunch, enjoy ambiance and shopping.

DAY 10—FROM PARIS, FRANCE, TO ROME, ITALY

Breakfast and lunch on the cruise. Transfer to Paris airport and flight to Rome. Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Lunch. In the afternoon tour of Baroque Rome, including Piazza Navona with its three majestic fountains and a unique atmosphere, Piazza Navona becomes one of the most beautiful baroque squares in the world. Trevi Fountain, the nicest fountain in Rome; Piazza di Spagna with its spectacular staircase and fountain in the shape of a boat; and the seat of different events and fashion shows. The steps of Piazza di Spagna are one of the best-known images of Rome. The Pantheon Square allows the Pantheon, the most preserved and influential building of ancient Rome. After visits, it’s time for fun and shopping. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.

DAY 11—VATICAN-ITALY

Breakfast in the hotel. Guided morning tour of the Vatican, a city-state located in the heart of Rome. The Vatican City is world-famous for being the nerve center of the Catholic Church. We will visit St. Peter’s Square, perhaps the most famous square in the world and one of the most beautiful. It was built by Bernini in the middle of the 17th century and can accommodate more than 300,000 people. The Metal-Basil of St. Peter is the most important religious building of Catholicism. In it, the Pope celebrates the most important liturgies, and its interior welcomes the Holy See.

Visit the Vatican Museums with all their impressive artistic content, cultural and religious. With more than 6 million annual visitors, the Vatican Museums are one of Rome’s main tourist attractions. In its interior are thousands of works of art collected by the Roman Catholic Church for more than five centuries. Considered as the masterpiece of Michelangelo, the Sistine Chapel is one of those places that everyone should see at least once in their lives. After visits, it’s time for fun and shopping.

DAY 12DEPARTING DAY

Breakfast in the hotel. Depending on the departure flight, the last time for sightseeing and shopping. Transfer to the airport for the flight back home.
