This trip will start on a high note, leading you towards the northern part of Uganda where Murchison is found. During your stopover at Ziwa rhino sanctuary, you will have a thrilling bushwalk as you search for rhinos and their calves in a wild ranch—that is currently on a mission to save this second biggest mammal species from extinction, rhinos.
After this tour, you will proceed with the visit to Murchison Falls N/P, where you will start your tour with an encounter of the most powerful waterfall in Africa.
What better way to start your day than to explore the beauty of Murchison’s lush savannah whilst discovering how mammals in its eco-system co-exist. Among the species to expect include; Rothschild giraffes, Jackson’s hartebeest, elephants, lions, buffalos and Uganda kobs among others.
In the afternoon, you will pursue a two hours boat cruise along a vast river bank that attracts huge concentrations of wildlife at different times of the day. The tour will unfold aboard a double decker boat that has a relaxing effect on the mind. The cruise will be crowned with a hike to the top of the falls where you will be treated to a three dimension view of its sheer force and jaw-dropping beauty; side view, birds view and landscape view.
Located along the Western escarpment, Hoima District is the cultural home of Bunyoro, the kingdom from which most of Uganda’s Bantu kingdoms disintegrated. As you drive through it, you will catch a glimpse of what life in a typical upcountry setting in Uganda is like.
No matter which of our partner lodges you chose to spend the night in Kibale national park tonight, you will be treated to a stunning view of the jungle and the scenic tea plantations that surround it.
Kibale is justifiably rated as the most thrilling destination in Africa for chimpanzee trekking and wildlife safaris. In addition to being blessed with the highest chimpanzee population in East Africa (roughly 1,200), it has 12 other species of primates inclusive of new world apes, nocturnal apes, and new world monkeys. You are likely to encounter most of these during your nature walk. If you wish to have a long and more intimate chimpanzee adventure, we can organize for a chimpanzee habituation experience.
In the afternoon, you will have a nature walk at Bigodi Papyrus Swamp, a community owned wetland where bird watching and primate tracking excels. This place is great for nature walks as it has a relaxing effect on both the body and soul. Its trails are so easy to maneuver that even kids can go through.
Overnight stay at Kibale National Park
The colorful stalagmites & stalactites of Mabere Ga nyina mwiru are such a beauty to behold. Photos cannot do justice to the beauty of its rock formations and the guided tour through it is informative.
After lunch, you will carry on with the four hours trip to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
On arrival, you will start your evening with a sunset boat cruise on Kazinga channel, a vast river where you will encounter plenty of crocodile and hippos. At its banks, you will see lots of buffalo, elephants, and if there is plenty of prey especially toppi, you will see lions too.
This morning game drive will unfold at Kasenyi, a mating ground in the Northern hemisphere of the park. It attracts a striking mix of both prey and predators, especially lions, hyenas and leopards.
This tour will be followed by a visit to Katwe, a stunning crater lake where you will discover how locals mine salt using prehistoric knowledge.
Later, you will return to your lodge. You will spend the afternoon relaxing in your room or swimming at the infinity pool.
After breakfast, you will start your game drive just over the border of the park in search for tree climbing lions. They are famed for their unmatched hunting skills and preference for hanging on branches of trees because it offers unlimited views of prey in the bush.
The journey to Bwindi will last about five hours during which you will be treated to stunning views of rolling hills and the meandering river system in their valleys.

Here, you stand 90% chances of encountering mountain gorillas in their totally wild but safe habitat, a dense tropical forest that nature created roughly 25,000 years ago.
The gorillas is for the most part well habituated to humans and you can happily sit for hours observing a family searching for food without feeling bothered by your presence.
Lake Mburo’s strategic location along the highway from Bwindi to Kampala makes it a perfect stopover where you can relax after an exhausting gorilla trek. Except for elephants, you have a good chance of encountering all of Africa’s most-sought-after species here, and the zebra density is amongst the highest in the continent. Other specials include giraffes, toppi, buffalo, hyenas, oribi, elands and Uganda kob.
Lake Mburo is also a lovely place to have a cozy boat cruise, game drives and nature walks. You will also see some of the less common but most aggressive antelope species, toppi.
Upon arriving in Kampala, you will be taken to a craft shop village where you can shop authentic handmade souvenirs.
Having successfully finished your trip, you will be driven to Entebbe International Airport ahead of your departure from the country.
